When the happening happens: If you see something, shoot something.

Alternatively: If you witness something, say something!

 

Sorry for the delay, here’s a short review

The last couple weeks have flown by and I traveled, camped, visited with friends & relatives, ate good food, briefly went shooting, and drank a fair amount of beer.  When there was access to working internet I was too tired or busy to do much, and tonight will be spent binge surfing and trying to catch up on events.  At one point I finally got to see Mad Max: Fury Road at a theater  and it delivers.  The only possible gripe that comes to mind is that the interceptor didn’t do a lot, but there’s so much other awesome shit going on for it to matter.  It had some of the feel of the second one in the world of the third one with plenty of its own thing.  No, it wasn’t at the theater that the crazy guy attacked, otherwise he might have had a couple new holes before the cops arrived.  It did happen to be at the same one I had seen the original Mad Max (1979) at five or ten years ago.  Seeing either one on the big screen along with Road Warrior (1981) and maybe even Thunderdome (1985) is something to behold as the crazy stunts and crashes are noticeably more brutal than on a TV.  It would be the perfect series to have a marathon at a drive-in if it hasn’t already.
